Txiki and Ferran have only ever had one window whilst at City, I trust them but I have immense doubts over Mangala for the fee being discussed.

For the past two or three weeks we have heard nothing but Benatia rumours, in regards to Mangala I have heard pretty much nothing.

I think it's Benatia.

I think he would move to us if we were the only option, but I get the feeling he wants the lifestyle of London over Manchester above all else which for me is a huge put off.

Benatia looks like he is doing all he can to get a move to us and for me I would prefer the experienced option over the potential in Mangala, and anyway for €40m I want more than potential.

We have plenty of potential coming through our academy.

However, I don't get the impression he doesn't want to sign for us; rather we might not be his first choice. If he does sign I'm sure he'll do so because he's happy to.
