Melancholy

I’m not melancholy. I’m fucking raging. At the lack of desire, the tactics, the effort, the score line, the fucking Neanderthal ****s in the crowd, the battle cry lip service shite we’ll hear from the players coming up. Everything.

But, the CL starts up again soon. Yay! ;)

Come on now, you can't say we didn't want it yesterday. There was plenty of effort and determination. Again we were all over them. The problem is we're facing teams who are well drilled and organized and play on the counter. All they need is a pacy couple of forwards and we look vulnerable. Until Pep comes up with a new solution we'll continue to struggle through games. I'm more upset about the false dawn, thinking that we we're back with our swagger after the Burnley game. Obviously that was just papering over some cracks.

I have six brain tumors and they'be spread to my spine, about fifty of the bastards. Three years ago I needed an emergency brain op because the tumor on optic chasm pressed that hard that I went blind, surgery restored some sight but not enough to drive. A week after surgery I 'went off' and end of life care was being arranged. Last ditch effort was to put a shunt in and the lift started to go back to the top floor :) There's too much pathology for surgery to effect a cure, so I'm on chemo, so far I'be had thirty two cycles and all seems stable. Blue since '67 I'be' been fortunate to see a lot of both good and bad City. I feel blessed to have seen the beauty that the last two season's City-have given us, besets of the best. So,in context, yesterday fucking hurts deeply, I fucking hate getting beat by anyone but ?ester-day has left me more than a bit flat. CTID.

The Spurs result yesterday made me think that may have been a one off against a poor side and so it proved.

We are miles off the pace this year. Hopefully the cups are the salvation.

I want the players to be feeling the same , who do you think will be ?

Raheem was bloody annoyed at HT along with Ferny, and when he came off at FT I thought the expression on Eddie's face was a picture! They'll be frustrated with their own performances but I should think they are as pissed off with the Whistling Wankers and VAR as we are.

Perhaps my advancing years have given me the tools to deal with a derby defeat , watched my grandson have a brilliant game for his under 14's at centre back and go top of the league , perspective.
He’s a centre back actually playing centre back? Now that’s revolutionary, perhaps we should try it!

Fuck me, come on mate.

We’ve currently got every single trophy in England sat in our trophy room. Have a think about that.

Think back to the 90s when we were in the 3rd Division and our concern was whether we would still be in the football league, let alone ever win another trophy.

We’ve got some of the best players ever to play the game and arguably the best coach of all time. At Manchester City.

This season has been a shocker, for so many reasons. But it’s nothing to be sad about. It’s a blip, we’ll rise again.

If there’s anything to feel sad about, it’s that moron yesterday. Not because he embarrassed the club, he doesn’t represent the club with what he did, he represents himself.

The thing that’s sad is that somewhere down the line in his life he’s learned that he thinks it’s ok to try to degrade and humiliate another human being because they look different to him.

Football pales in to insignificance. We’ve lorded it over that mob over the road for the best part of a decade. Won all the trophies, won all the derbies. Let them have their day in the sun, we’ll be back.

Really good post.
