Melbourne City FC Thread

At home tonight 7:30pm KO. Playing Western United, they are currently 4th 2 points behind us (currently 2nd). Being 9 points of top we really need to turn around this recent drop in form.

It looks like it's going to be 36° today and probably around 30° by the time game starts so this high pressing strategy that recently has not really worked might need a rethink.

Hopefully we can start the year with a convincing win, worst case scenario the beers will be cold.
 
Just about to KO, was touch and go weather the game would actually be played, very hazy/smokey poor air quality. Big part of the state is burning. Has improved lately but still pretty warm.
 
Losing 2-1 at HT in Brisbane...seems like 2 shots 2 goals v proper poor finishing. Should probably be leading by least by 2 goals on the balance of play.

Edit 2-2 first few mins of the second half,,,great shot.
