Anyone up for taking charge of this? Probably got about £50 for each banner so far.

There are City friendly banner makers/printers who use the forum. The banner can be taken in by the fans and hung from the second or third tier. Any takers? My tenner is ready!

Has anyone taken you up on this offer? I am more then happy to chip in another tenner towards it, if it is getting arranged.Cake said:I work in the motor trade and have a sign maker friend who will do me a banner at trade cost.
He will do a 15ft x 4ft white vinyl type material banner with black text saying whatever we want and even an image if we like for £125. All we have to do is provide the design, he will also put the eyelet holes in so it can be tied up.
I live in Lincolnshire but am coming up for the game on the 17th, sitting on ESL3 block 304 (from memory) so if we can get the cash together can meet somebody beforehand or alternatively if we have enough cash I could get it sent via Royal Mail to someone more local so it will definately get there.
He does need to know quickish so he can get it made and dropped of with me intime.
I've always done very well for myself as a programmer. I have a nice amount of savings locked away for a rainy day and today I have decided that I will pledge £50,000 to keep United in business, and rivalling us.
I won't pay it mind, but people always say it's the thought that counts. :-)

Not yet mate, I pm'ds jrb as he was the OP. He in turn has pm'd Ric about using his paypal account to get the cash together. I have a mate who will make the banners for £125 each, will happily sort it from that if we can agree on gettin the cash together and someone to either meet me at the match or have them sent to the to put up on derby day.
