Metrolink to / from Etihad

The annoying thing for me is that I'd always walk to and from matches if I was on my own. However, I attend matches with my mate who has mobility issues so feel duty bound to stay with him and use the tram both ways.
After yesterday's experience, I provided feedback via the "Bee Network" app, and I'd suggest anyone who had a rubbish experience to do the same. If people don't provide them feedback, I suspect Burnham & his cronies will think everything is brilliant.

Mate I've emailed them countless times and you just get the standard trite reply. On matchdays they have all these stewards or whatever they are at stops in the city center. They do nothing except shout to passengers already standing up crushed to move down the tram so they can cram even more people on.

Will always be Warwick Road as far as I am concerned, 'Trafford Bar' what the hell is that?
Trafford Bar is where the old BR station Old Trafford was situated, and renamed when Metro was introduced as they didn't want the tourists getting off a mile from the Swamp.

It's Dire both ways tbh
There will down come s day when people sit in the roof as they do in India I'm sure

Metrolink say they have come up with the solution to crowded trams going to and from the Etihad stadium. The head of metrolink, Danny Vaughn, said by allowing passengers to ride on the roof they provide a unique exhilarating experience and a chance to experience Greater Manchester weather in the raw. It also allows trams to carry more passengers and will add to the atmosphere for match going fans.

We must have got lucky yesterday by the sounds of it.

Got to Deansgate just as a double was pulling out about 2.30. Thought we’re definitely gonna be late here. But literally 1 or 2 minutes later another double turned up and it wasn’t even full. Got a seat even.

I went into town in the summer one late afternoon. Got on at Stretford and saw a tram to the Etihad in 5 mins then another in 11 mins on the display which I thought was really unusual. Anyway got on and realised there was a concert on at the stadium. Couldn't believe there was specials laid on for that but sod all when we're at home.

Most aren’t prepared to leave it till 2.30 to leave town.
What time did you get to your seat in the stadium?

You’ve got it easy compared to anyone having to catch one of the buses, why oh why they can’t count to a hundred, start loading that bus, then crack on with the next & so on, I don’t know, instead they just wait till that one is ready to go, there’s no reason why they couldn’t set 3 or 4 off straight away, yesterday the bus just crawled at 5mph behind all the fans (no doubt a reaction to the incident midweek) and everyone was shouting at the driver to get on with it
