Metrolink to / from Etihad

Not just the trams that don't work. I was at Leeds station with a mob of Utd fans trying to get the 6.15 train back to Manchester. Loads of trains cancelled due to signalling failure's and those that still bothered got on a slow train that got into Manchester after 8pm.

Ha ha, they have managed to screw over Rag fans tonight.

Brilliant.

Engineering work this Sat on Eccles line, not sure how this will impact getting to the Spurs game. Website not very clear or informative. Any info anyone?

No trams on Eccles line replacement bus service. Ashton line running to be Bury instead. People coming from Eccles should be able to board a tram at cornbrook or deans gate and change at picc or picc gardens.
Same situation weekend of the Derby too

Wonder if there will be any Etihad specials running from Deansgate or Cornbrook for people coming from the south, or else it will mean changing in the city centre for the revised Bury to Ashton

Advance warning on the day of the derby game all trams that normally pass through Cornbrook won't be as it's closed on that day.

Manchester City host Manchester United at the Etihad in the Premier League on Sunday 6 March (Kick off 4.30pm).

If you're travelling to watch the fixture our key advice is:

  • Metrolink Engineering works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield. There will be a replacement bus service operating to help continue your journey.
