My 75 year old ones got me down the canal to Piccadilly where the trams were actually running, so all that bollocks at the ground was complete tosh - the demo was in the City centre. As a public transport system the Metrolink is next to useless.My 50 odd year old pins stomped me the 1.9 miles from my seat to Shudehill. For a 1 minute wait for a tram.

Absolutely fine for me post match yesterday too. Straight through the queue chicane onto a double tram to Trafford Bar for a 2 minute wait for a connection to Chorlton. Got a seat in both directions too.I was quite pleased with them for a change - city kindly put up on the screen Ashton tram in 9 mins so I timed it perfectly with a minute to go a double pulled in ? Ran for it and made it ! If only it was always like this ….
