Going off what I've heard on here yes.

The sad thing is that this was potentially avoidable. I had heard as a first timer to Mary D's after the game that trouble was known to be happening when things quietened down, how did the police not know????? Or maybe the did!!!

It looks like there's a good chance that the lad injured is not a blue. Everyone's made that assumption because of that tweet earlier but that wasn't him: the guy injured refused hospital treatment. Looking at the video you can see it looks like a red who gets cornered when they all run off.

Fuck him. Live by the sword, die by the sword. The video that's been removed showed them chucking missiles at innocent fans and ballooning around before getting the shock of their lives when the city lads in there took exception.

I kind of get the point about avoiding trouble if you want to & you are streetwise enough. However it really isn't always possible. If everyone in the pub had thought this way, then the little rag scrotes probably would have stood there all day throwing bottles & bricks until their hearts were content. If you are stood having a pint and some arsehole attacks the pub, then you are well within your rights to defend yourself IMO. Which includes going outside & stopping them throwing things. It's a shame that they weren't caught & given a beating, as this is the only thing these type of people understand.

Most clubs have their fair share of scum bags but the rags seem to have a higher number of shithouses than almost everyone else.

I think people are assuming it was a blue on the basis that his wife posted a message on twitter. But watching the video it appears that there is a guy in a sky blue shirt giving the lad on the floor, who remains on the floor a kicking. Either in the confusion he mistakenly though he was a red, or in actual fact the injured lad was a red.

I walked past about 10 minutes after final whistle and didn't see anyone or anything

It kicked off a good hour after the final whistle. It must have been getting on towards 5pm. Rag scum came looking for trouble and hopefully they got a pasting.
