I repeat - I've never been attacked by opposing fans.
Had plenty kicking off with me, hurling abuse but it's how you react to it that counts.
I've just laughed it off, and walked away.
I don't need to prove to any beer bellied balding muppet with no teeth who likes to fight how tough I am.
I mean who know's what may happen in the future? I might get my ass kicked next week at a match but
I'm just saying when fans have kicked off in the past I could easily of responded in an aggressive way and had a good old scrap but
I just found it funny, I find the whole football hooliganism thing funny can't help but laugh at it all, and just walked off into my own world with my pint.
Do what you guys gotta do. Just hope there's no deaths/seriously hurt.
The only benefit hooliganism brings is for the thousands of Asians in Singapore who are brainwashed to believe that Utd hate City (true) but we really go at each other and its one big competitive hot bed when in reality most of us just get along in our communities and might have a joke or two.
Never saw the coaches attacked then? Both at wembley and old Trafford?
Didn't see the wembley way stuff?
Didn't see some of the stuff at the services ?
You must walk around in a different world to the rest of us.
Fair enough
I never said I didn't see it.
You aren't seeing my point.
I could of easily been angered by it all and started hurling abuse myself, screaming and shouting like some monkey at Knowsley but I didn't.
I didn't bite.
Complete wind up merchants. getting each other to bite and then eventually one attacks and this gives you the excuse to bite back.
What if you aren't being wound up? if you're just stood looking at them laughing it all off, then simply walking away.
This stops the whole escalation before it gets to the point where lads are cracking each others skulls.
Look, I love fighting. I've competed many times in a sport I love and have good memories but this stuff - there is no end to it all, no discipline, it's just wind up merchants getting each other to bite.
Damn I hate those rag bastards. Would I smash one of their faces in? probably not.
if he attacked me and I had no choice.. then yes I would defend myself, but there's a big difference between having a scrap with a gang of your mates than simply defending yourself when you have no other option.
Peace & Love.
I think your missing the point my friend......9 times out of 10 when a so called utd fan attacks it's always in a group, seen it loads of times, the worst was when a group of 6 took a swipe at a city fan with his 6 year old knocking him over. We didn't turn a blind eye and walk on and I know the fella and his kid were very grateful. The modern utd fan is a coward who hunts indiscriminately, I hope your Good Samaritan ways don't catch you out in the future.
