Micah In Showdown Talks With Mark HughesAfter Anfield Axe...

'Talks' just means a conversation. It could be that he wants to know what he's doing wrong and what he needs to do to get back in the team, which is positive. It could be that he issues some sort of ultimatum to Hughes. I think it'll be the first. As for the line that he feels he's become a scapegoat for defensive errors, I'm afraid video evidence disproves that.

He made Giggs look 21 again and his positional sense is awful leading to Toure to cover. It effects the whole defence Dobsy.

You can't trust the Mirror but I do think his days are numbered, not just because he got dropped but because he's not a MH's type player. Plus it's obvious we desperately need a new RB

Micah is only good enough to be a squad player, his postional sense is truly awful and his passing is woeful. He does not deserve a place in the starting 11 and Hughes should make it clear to him that he either knuckles down and improves or packs his bags and leaves.

He is not living up to his potential and serious decisions need to be made about his future in January.

Kiam; you are surely contradicting yourself here my friend....

"Micah is only good enough to be a squad player" = by definition, someone who comes in for injured players currently out of the team, or suspended players again currently out of the team, likewise being on the bench he would presumably come on for an injured player, or an impact player during times when we need to change certain games (far less likely i know!)

BUT

And i dont disagree nor agree with the following statement from you "his postional sense is truly awful and his passing is woeful", then why in the world would we have such a player on the bench or even in the first team squad, as when/if he gets his chance in the team, his 'impact' is surely going to be a negative one?? Hughes and the current management team surely know every player by now and they will make the decision on whether or not Mr Richards is good enough for our future greatness, if its a personal thing (which i somehow doubt) he will be shown the door, ala Elano...

Personally, i would agree with his departure, as he has had more than enough chances to make any position his own by now and he just simply hasnt been able to do so, which IMO is more down to his attitude rather than his perceived talent.

CTID and beyond..... :-)

Correct this time, Michael.

Anybody who wants rid of one of our kids who in all honesty is still raw raw talent has to be a rag. You mark my words under given the right guidance Richards will be back. I'd hate O'Neill to get his mits on him he'd turn him into a star just as he does with so many players.
