Micah Richards - new leaf?

I quite like Micah but feel he is not a natural footballer who struggles to do things at pace without thinking. You can see he is being well schooled by Mancini but I doubt he will ever be good or consistent enough to be top class.
A typical example last night was when he was faced with Van Persie. Everyone and his grannie knows that he is totally left footed so what does Micah do - shows him to his left foot instead of showing him inside onto his weaker right foot.
Still I hope he proves me wrong but like I say I have my doubts.
This post summed up all about Richards though.

i saw him bombing up field and then once we lost it he actually sprant back, i thought i was seeing things

Decent player but he's acting like a woman now.

He needs to decide whether he wants to be a squad player for us or get weekly football elsewhere.

Of course, it's Mancini's fault that Micah isn't playing for England, nothing to do with the fact he's been average for the past few seasons.

Can't see this doing his England chances any good anyway, the last thing England needs is another soft, whinging twat who bleats to the press every 5 seconds, they've got more than enough of those already.

I think a loan move may be the best option.

It's doing wonders for Ned... starting each week, a consistent run out and gaining a good reputation as he goes.

Give him to Liverpool for the rest of the season; lot of testing of his skills and little chance of it hurting us too much ;)

IMO He is better than Boateng.

What, if you forget the howling mistakes, being woefully out of position and jogging back when the opposition are breaking on us.

You mustn't rate Boateng very much then.

If he wants to play every week, then cherio Micah. I'd play Lescott and Zabaleta ahead of him if we want defensive left or right backs on the pitch. And if we want attack minded players, Kolorov and Boateng (or Bridge, if we kept him). And we can bring Ned back if necessary too.

For me, Richards is OK-ish at defending (though error prone) and OK-ish at attacking (still can't put a cross in). But not brilliant at either.
