Micah Richards the pundit

Embarrassing (again) for him yesterday and possibly even, a new low, which is saying something. The guy has nothing to contribute re tactics of a match, he sees nothing of importance during a game and all he spouts is cliched drivel that anybody could muster. Sooking up to Arse after their anti-football performance yesterday, when they behaved like a 3rd division team hanging on for a draw in the 3rd round of a Cup match was pathetic.
It's depressing that he is the only "City" pundit on our screens at the moment on Sky when there are people who have City to heart who could do a far better job...Joe Hart and Nedum for example. and he's on the BBC as well, it's unbelievable.
Very disappointed in him of late.

Joe Hart was on Optus yesterday and great - tbf Ian Wright was very balanced too. SWP and Tim Sherwood are also decent pundits. Micah is really poor.

Unfortunately Micah isn't a pundit and sometimes he's more on there for the entertainment value.

I watch European games 'ahem' on Paramount and it's even worse on there. It can be good entertainment but they barely discuss football. It's more about laughing, making noise and jokes, you can see that their main audience are clueless Americans.

I think Joe Hart is going to do well once he has bedded in.

Richards is a pundit for the modern age - all about the "bants," social media likes and trying to say something funny all the time. When it gets to intricacies of the game rather than looking for a hot take, hes way out of his depth. Dont always agree with Keane but hes brutally honest and will give you a far greater insight than Richards does.

That Paramount/CBS panel is clearly pinned at social media clips and the attention of teenagers who never actually go to matches. Abdo is a decent presenter and Henry tries his best but Richards and that squeeky voiced scouse nerk are just figures of fun.

Nedum is a smart guy but I don't think his approach plays well on tv who want quick fire insights. On podcasts etc where he is allowed to talk for a bit he's very, very good. TV doesn't allow that for the most part and as someone said, Sky want "banter" shite to appeal to juveniles.

I love Nedum and even more as he`s a self confessed Rag hater. Proof you say ?
Yes he attended one of our Mid Cheshire Supporters Meetings and openly admitted it and said he hates them more than Liverpool which says something.
