Micah Richards the pundit

I’m neither little nor wokey.

Every single black pundit without exception has being accused on here at some point of only getting the job because they’re black.

That isn’t making something into something it isn’t. It’s repeating a fact.
To be fair - I too find the term 'ticking a box' quite insulting as someone probably wouldn't use it for a non black person but having said that, you're looking for something to be offended by on every thread.

What else am I offended at out of interest?

I think he's good. He provides some light in all the very serious football chat. It doesn't need to be a serious dissection of what happened. It's sport sometimes the better team doesn't win, sometimes a player has a bad day and it's as simple as that. Micah generally is there for some light relief. He knows he isn't smart enough to give a robust technical review of things, but plenty of the pundits aren't. I wouldn't disagree with his opinion on Saliba either. As much as we've got a better squad, and Arsenal should have still won certain games without him, it's a big loss. Our form with and without Dias is very different despite having some very good players.

The Arsenal team in general have folded and lost form, but Saliba has been a key ingredient in their success this season. It's not a coincidence they've dropped so many points without him.

patrick vieira , nedum , ian wright ,off the top of my head, all the white pundits who are shit get called out.the white shite pundits are box tickers as well, or do you think paul merson/owen gets the gig because he has excellent footballing knowledge or played for one of the big 4, you like a tussle, and you're trying to find an angle

i think he’s okay and at his best at lightweight banter-style stuff. He‘s engaging and does make me laugh but not suited to deep analysis to be honest. Nedum, SWP, Tim Sherwood (loves City) and Robbie Earle are all better pundits from a City perspective but lack Micah’s big personality.

Was nothing wrong with him saying Saliba has been a big miss.
