Micah Richards the pundit

Crazy innit.
How Richards has managed to get a job with the beeb, sky and cbs is beyond me, given he's so bobbins?
I know you’re being sarcastic, just before I comment lol...

He’s got a great personality and whilst he’s not as analytical as Neville and he was wrong about Pogba imo, at least he’s different and very likeable.

He’s good with Keane on there, as Keane is miserable but funny with it and Micah is really happy and funny with it.

It just seems to work.

My nephew will be 18 in March, and it only occurred to me recently, that he's only ever known City to be a Premier League club, forever in contention for domestic silverware, whilst our neighbours contemplate sacking their 4th Manager in 6 years.

SKY and BT are well aware of that changing demographic, and we're slowly seeing more of Richards, Lescot and Barry, regardless of whether they're actually suitable for the role of TV Pundit (not that it's ever been too much of a consideration when choosing Scholes and Evra)
For the sake of balance, I think Camelgob is one of the better pundits, particularly when talking about technical deficiencies.
Richards is likeable, but needs to form his own opinions based on what's just happened rather than what might happen if a player suddenly finds form.
Keane is just a parody, and his solution is always "why doesn't somebody smash someone?"

He's working at his craft so his analysis should continue to improve; his personality is his great gift and I can see him presenting shows eventually even if he doesn't take the punditry to a higher level.
If you could clone Micah and Nedum we’d have the perfect pundit

Having Sky/ BT/ BBC say "And with me in the studio is former Manchester City player ..." legitimises the club ... it says that we've arrived, we're a big club, our players' opinions are just as important as those of Utd or Liverpool players. It's all good and (at least some) recognition of our achievements over the past decade.

Richards, Onuoha, etc can only be good news.

I dont mind him saying that he should be playing every week, but he doesn’t pay too much attention when he’s saying “he plays well every time he plays” because he doesn’t.

Leicester
Leeds
Porto
West Brom

He had poor games. And that’s why he doesn’t play every week.

Watch the games properly Micah lad.

Micah has fully sold out

Flogging the phil unhappy week after week

Again today saying pep is not playing him

Talked about eddie missing and steffan in , adds a mention of allisson

Talking about kev and mentions that ugly cheating rag ****

He is not like this on the bbc

Sold out to keep his sky job

People think he’s great for fighting our corner, but if someone else was moaning about Foden not starting games, it would be seen as more anti-City anti-Pep media bias

I’ve defended him on here lots and love the guy but this Foden stuff is boring... he can’t play every single game, nobody can.

I think Foden should play more but Micah taking it too far.

Yea Micah give it a fucking rest about Phil. Pep knows what he is doing. Why is Micah saying this crap, Phil as at the best club in the world with the best facilities and best manager.
Micah you are beginning to sound like an old bitter hack. Why are you help the media in stirring the shit regarding City and Phil ?

I like Micah but this banging on about Phil is getting embarrassing even Souness said you have to trust the manager.
