What's not to like. He's charming, he's funny, he seems to enjoy winding up Gary Neville, he captures the old school City habit of not taking everything too seriously, and he seems to be enjoying himself. He scrubs up well in a suit as well, as my girlfriend frequently points out. His tactical insight isn't blistering, but I do think he brings insights into the psychological and emotional side of being a professional footballer that some of the Proper Football Men have never really spoken about.
