I really hope he has a cracking game on Saturday, to cast away some of these naysayers.

The boy bleeds Blue. Giving away those tickets summed him up; a true a blue as youll ever see.

Yep sorting the kid out with tixs was fantastic.

Micah has a bad season yes I agree, but who would get to replace him and who would understand what we are better than him
Kenny clements

If micah has a cracking game on Saturday it will be a miracle, we play Sunday :-)

I have no doubts he is a lovely lad,a good laugh in the dressing room but unfortunately we pay him to be a footballer and to one, improve as a player and two to be fit and reliable for when he is needed.Up to now he has done neither.

Would you offer him a new contract on his contributions over the last couple of seasons?

Haha oh yeah, was thinking we were playing at Barca on Tuesday, like we did with Chelsea two weeks ago.

No I wouldnt offer him a new contract, I agree he doesnt deserve one, his injuries are frustrating. However, he hasnt had a good run of games for awhile, and I want to see him play for an extended period of time before judging him, weve seen what hes capable of. You never know, these injuries could just be an awful coincidence/bad diet weights plan.

Deep down, as a Blues fan, I want him to stay as well.

Don't want him to go. But like you say, Micah's paid to be a football player. Sad that injuries and bad play have effected him.
I remember when he was considered one of our best. Hopefully he gets it turned around and sees some minutes the rest
of the way. But I wouldn't be surprised if he asks for a transfer at the end of the season. Why are all our English players struggling
to get minutes?

To be fair , the manager also needs to look after this situation right with a player coming off a long injury absence.

I think it was a mistake an unfair to throw him in against bayern with so little match practice.

Games should have been chosen carefully and also pick him with a strong team selection not play him in a under strength team.

I fear zaba getting injured or burnt out in the important remaining games, if Micah would have been eased into certain games and played 50, then 60 then 70 minutes etc .. There would be no fear of throwing him in whatsoever, because when match fit , i think we will all agree, its hard to choose between him n zaba.

Its unfair for people to expect him to play out of his skin when he's getting so little match time.

Look at the way the injurys to aguero are dealt with, management seem to have pre-planned the number of minutes he plays. Surely this should be the case with all players not just the chosen ones.

A match fit Micah could be be so valuable to us - we've still got 3 competitions to think about and players will need rest and inevitably we will pick up the odd injury.

I would love to see Micah get a good solid game under his belt this weekend , it will do him a world of good.

Good luck to you son, all the best.

It seems as a club we have moved on and Micah hasn't moved with us Up to three years ago he was vital to us , but the commitment and sheer quality of Zabba has made right back his very own I personally rated him when he played alongside Dunney at centre half obviously Pellegrini doesn't see it that way choosing Garcia over him No doubt he has been blighted by injuries , but he is at crossroads in his career He was being talked about as a £20 million pound player when he was near to an England place but City will be lucky to get nearer £5 million now if he goes or stays he will always be a blue

Maybe Micah's day as a right back is over at the club. I wouldnt rule him out of the squad completely. Look at him and I compare Micah to defenders we have in the squad. A fully fit Micah would make my bench every week if not starting. I think with the way our central pairing is going its only a matter of time before Micah and Vinny are giving a chance to play as a central back pairing. He has played there before for the club so the position isnt new to him and has done well enough. I think that is the position if I was Micah I would be looking at playing. Get a game or 2 there alongside Vinny and look good and who knows we might have saved ourselfs a couple of million to buy a new center back. What he does need no matter what he needs to get back into the match day squad and get some minutes on the pitch then build on that in the pre season. Regarding a new contract whats left on his current 1??? I am guessing Micah wouldnt be looking for big bucks and who knows he might be happy to resign on the same money. Injuries always play a part but a healthy Richards and match fit is 1 I think could do us a job for years to come.

A player to bring in for the right back Coleman off Everton he would push Zaba on and on.

Those writing him off forget that he was preferred over Zab by Pellers to do a job against Ribery in the CL. Unlucky that he got injured.

I think this season has been a write off for him, and as someone stated, starting him in a team full of squad players isn't helping him. He needs time to gel back in with the first team, and I can't see that chance coming until the off season barring injury to Zab.

Its not just this season though is it?

For the past few his reliability, regardless of reason, has become a problem that cannot continue.
