I really hope he has a cracking game on Saturday, to cast away some of these naysayers.
The boy bleeds Blue. Giving away those tickets summed him up; a true a blue as youll ever see.
I have no doubts he is a lovely lad,a good laugh in the dressing room but unfortunately we pay him to be a footballer and to one, improve as a player and two to be fit and reliable for when he is needed.Up to now he has done neither.
Would you offer him a new contract on his contributions over the last couple of seasons?
To be fair , the manager also needs to look after this situation right with a player coming off a long injury absence.
I think it was a mistake an unfair to throw him in against bayern with so little match practice.
Games should have been chosen carefully and also pick him with a strong team selection not play him in a under strength team.
I fear zaba getting injured or burnt out in the important remaining games, if Micah would have been eased into certain games and played 50, then 60 then 70 minutes etc .. There would be no fear of throwing him in whatsoever, because when match fit , i think we will all agree, its hard to choose between him n zaba.
Its unfair for people to expect him to play out of his skin when he's getting so little match time.
Look at the way the injurys to aguero are dealt with, management seem to have pre-planned the number of minutes he plays. Surely this should be the case with all players not just the chosen ones.
A match fit Micah could be be so valuable to us - we've still got 3 competitions to think about and players will need rest and inevitably we will pick up the odd injury.
I would love to see Micah get a good solid game under his belt this weekend , it will do him a world of good.
Good luck to you son, all the best.
