He has been poor in the first half today. Not sure about getting rid of him right now, bit too soon. As I said on the matchday forum, we are playing against a very settled side, who are at home on the first day of the season against a team that has spent a shit load of money over the last two seasons. They are right up for it, and Bale is a very good left sided player. Mind you, still no excuse for some of Richards' defending. That said, he's not the only player who has had a poor half.

Forget all of this stop having a pop at the player and get behind him stuff, I always get behind the player so there's nothing different here, I am getting behind Micha but he does worry me a lot, especially when he's under pressure like he has been in the past 45 minutes. Some referees would have given that as a penalty against him and he has lost the ball quite a bit, don't get me wrong though, I will get behind him and give him my support as I do all the players on our squad but he is a worry. What makes me laugh though is when I hear someone say that somone has been terrible in a match when it's clear as day that they have, then someone else might hit back and say you should get behind the player when they might have been going on about something similar or saying we need to get rid of one of our players themselves (not saying that's happening in this case but it has happened before).
