Micah..

How was Micah not sent off sunday? considering he was last man??

It's an FA conspiracy - if he had been sent off he would have missed the next game... the FA would rather we dropped three points ;)

This is a great thread. Lots of good footballing brains to glean insights from, even if they don't agree over what a footballing brain is.

My daughter came in and said, "how is the game" after 50 minutes, and I said "unless Richards gives away a penalty, there is no way they are going to score.".

I usually get that stuff wrong, but I hated the predictability of it all on Sunday.

Anyway, overall I am beginning to think of our set up in much more positive terms. Micah is going to struggle to hold his place, when people are fit. We can still win it all this year. Seriously.

If boateng plays like he can, that bench will be kept very very warm by micah.

from what i've seen already, boateng is miles ahead of micah at the moment, but micah was once like that 3 years ago if we remember rightly, what's happened i don't know.

Boateng is class, imo in the next 2 seasons he will be recognised as one of the best RB's in the world.

Sorry I haven't managed to read through all 37 pages, so this might already have been mentioned, but it seems as though the majority of fans either (a) want Micah out of the team, or (b) think he'll get better with experience.

So how about we keep both camps happy by loaning him out to a mid-table or lower prem team? That way he'll learn and get better (hopefully) without costing us valuable points in the process. Seems like that's more or less what we did with Hart, and he wasn't nearly as damaging to the team when he played.

He's going backwards still. Caught out of position too many times today.

When he's meant to shove Diouf and unsettle him, he's doing his hip-hop handshake with him.

I really hope we sell him.

I thought Micah was pretty good today, but time and time again you see him reacting to things slower than everyone else on th pitch.

Reading of the game is something you'd expect to develop over time, but I've seen no improvement in that area.

If/when he gets that right you'd never leave him out of the team.

Certainly was not the worse of the back four today, but Vinnie just seems to get better every week,he finds extra time to come out with the ball,I would give him MOM for today
