No, he couldn't have done that. He is only allowed a certain number of defenders and a certain number of midfielders. In any event, Adam Johnson has had a much better season than Downing and that Oxlade whipper-snapper. As for Micah v Jones, it's pretty obvious who has had by far the better and more consistent season and it certainly ain't Jones.

What Woy is thinking about here is the massive difference in ability between the two. It must be this that has got the Jones lad in! Oh, and the fact that he invariably wears a red shirt.

Micah may well have had a game or two lately from the bench but he's a better footballer than Phil Duncan Edward Jones, any day, any where!

Not a fucking clue. Duncan Edwards will now be used as a back up centre back rather than a back up right back, but Hodgson initially stated it was a straight choice between Jones and Richards, so why now choose Kelly? Farcical.
