Michael Johnson arrested again

No sympathy, no excuses, this man had all the talent in the world and support that we could only dream of a he threw it back in the faces of everybody. I hope we get rid of him as soon as possible, we don't need people like Johnson at our great club.

Always used to laugh at people on here who tried to make out that people were liars because they had seem him pissed out and about in town.

I hardly venture out into town and i saw him regularly.

if you stack shelves in asda and get done for drunk driving it wouldnt effect your employment. michael johnson is being employed as a professional athelete. surely as part of his contract it must be stated that he should keep his body in a fit and healthy state. by being overweight and abusing alcohol then he is surely breaking the terms of his contract. get rid city.

Where have you heard this? I cant find anything on the 'net.
Also just a thought, instead of sacking him how about the club helping him. We have enough money to afford his wages now lets show we have some compassion and to be fair I think the club ARE showing that in bucketfuls so full marks to them.
The lads head is obviously in a bad place so please before the board descends into a 'Johnson out' campaign just think if it was your son/brother/mate.

Helping him?

He should help himself.

30grand a week, and the club should help him.

Give it a rest.

If you worked for City in a less glamorous job how would you feel with the money being spent on Johnson ?

I would think what could we do with that cash to benefit the club's other employees, the amounts we are talking about would seriously add to the quality of their working day, not that they need money as they must do it for love ;-).

What he is doing these days? Is he training? Didnt see his name in any reserve match line up in the last weeks.

He probably isnt in right condition to be loaned out.

His contract probably expires this year or next year and why would we give him a new one. We should pay off him and let him leave to a therapy. Right now he is spending his money on alcohol and fast cars.

You don't have to know him personally to know that drink driving is wrong. Your first line in your post was you are not defending him in the slightest however you have followed that up with a long post defending him and replying to other peoples messages defending him.
I know that drink driving is wrong , the further i got into my post I realised I was defending him. I have no sympathy for drink drivers but I don't like seeing a true blue selling his soul for a piss up at weather spoons .

It's a tragic waste of talent and potential but you can't force him not to be a twat

He,s forcing himself to be a twat.

He can always go on celebrity big brother or go to fc rags or something to get a few quid.

There is a certain irony that we want RSC, Bridge, Ade etc off the wage bill to help meet FFPR, yet this guy is still stealing a living while walking around in the sort of condition that would embarrass a half decent Sunday player.
He will probably take us for as much money as he can and then retire when the gravy train reaches the end of the line.
