Anyway back on topic, I feel sorry for Michael Johnson, maybe I shouldn't but I don't know his full circumstances so it's hard for me to pass judgement on him. I also sincerely hope things work out for him in the end. He had an incredible talent and it must be a terrible feeling not to fulfil what was expected of you.

He clearly has a number of psychological problems and even if he never kicks a ball again for City I would hope he can get help for his disorder.
I have seen many people waste much talent in all walks of life and it is always very sad to see, he needs to seek help.

If he is unavailable to complete his side of the contract, it can be viewed as a fundamental breach of contract, and the contract could be cancelled.

However, football clubs rarely take that option. They have a cosy relationship with the PFA and wouldn't want to rock the boat ala' Bosman...

If charged and convicted he won't "do" any time, unless he was recklessly over the limit, my guess would be 12 month driving ban, and a fine - nobody else was involved in the accident.
