I don’t know mate. Even at 50% it wouldn’t be automatically be “excessive” but you’ve got to question anyone’s motives who is in a political capacity and then makes very good profit from the nations plight, at the very least it’s a poor look for them - although they don’t come across as giving a shit what you or I think about that. As I said at the time there is precedence in this country to tax profiteering at 100%, we did it before during WW1 and should have done same with PPE.
