Because it is a certain win for Iran and Hezbollah, who are militarily far more experienced, if it is against IDF alone.

IDF is mainly reservist conscripts (tiktok instagram generation) who themselves have been on heavy damage through urban warfare on 1st day.

And now Israel has what it wants with the yanks dropping bombs and helping to potentially drag more into the conflict. All whilst increasing the risk of Islamist terrorism around the globe. Depressing as fuck and should have been stopped weeks ago.

The state of Israel is in a state of collective madness at the moment thrashing around and beginning to alienate itself from its biggest backers, it seems the preferred solution is a one state solution where the Palestinians are always second class citizens a watered down apartheid system, and they think that would fly with the rest of the world, many Israelis are starting to realise this

The US have been hitting bases used by Iran since this whole thing kicked off. Today is nothing unusual. They are actually being quite reserved in the grand scheme of things. Seems to be when US personel get hurt that the hit back.
