Thats not representative of the Israeli people. Its a couple of extreme ministers in their govn.
“The fringe” are ministers and are dictating Israel’s policies…make it make sense.

For the same reason Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss aren’t representative of the British people. The vagaries of their democracy means that wrong ‘uns can become PM just like here or in the US where they ended up with Trump in spite of him getting less votes than Clinton in 2016. All democracies are flawed, some more than others. You may be right but are people not always claiming that Israel is a democratic country? If so, then why aren't people who are elected and ministers not representative of Israeli people?
As I said, you may be right but the two arguments do not go together?
You can say that again. It may not be genocide but it is very much looking like ethnic cleansing.Looking like Israel may well have made a strategical mistake, as predicted.
I don’t think anybody believes that the Israeli government is representative of their people, but to allow this frenzy the people of Israel can only be seen in two ways. For the same reason Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss aren’t representative of the British people. They need to start speaking up far more stridently.I don’t think anybody believes that the Israeli government is representative of their people, but to allow this frenzy the people of Israel can only be seen in two ways.
For or against, they need to have a voice.

And that is where the world will understand what the Israeli people really want, or what they are prepared to accept. They need to start speaking up far more stridently.
Aside from anything else, it’s increasingly inefficacious and counterproductive, long-term.And that is where the world will understand what the Israeli people really want, or what they are prepared to accept.
For me, what they are doing is completely unacceptable and I’d now be looking to see their government in the Hague.
