Middle East Conflict

New Israeli strike kills at least 33, in north Gaza’s Jabalia

Yet another horrendous Israeli massacre happening right now

The area has been cut off with food, water and medicine

Genocide

Why is Semitic defined as;
a group of languages — including Hebrew and Arabic — as well as the people who traditionally speak them. Semitic is rooted in the Biblical name Shem, the son of Noah, who is traditionally thought of as the direct ancestor of the Jews and Arabs.

And yet Antisemitic is defined as;
Characterized by prejudice, hostility, or discrimination towards Jewish people on religious, cultural, or ethnic grounds; anti-Jewish.

Why or when were Arabs dropped from the term?

No particular reason for wanting to know and it doesn’t change the debate here at all, as we understand what is implied by the term.

Just curious.

The term was invented to apply only to Jews by someone who wanted to promote opposition to Jews (i.e. he thought antisemitism was a good thing). Arguing that it's imprecise, and could be used for other semitic people, is a bit pointless. It was intended to be pejorative only for Jews and while that's down to the guy who coined the term, trying to change the definition became a lost cause once Jews adopted the term with that same definition as something to be opposed (effectively anti-antisemitism). As an alternative to "Jew-hatred" it caught on - maybe you could be antisemitic without hating Jews - but also got tied up with anti-Zionism.

Cheers.
As I said, I was more curious than thinking it changed anything.

It's enough to beautify the innocent dead, and what other option did they leave for Israel?
Do not judge things from afar and from a hostile media, which tells the story of the children of Gaza, those children who have no chance of a normal life because they were born with hatred in their eyes and kisses in their beds.
The end of Hamas will give chance to millions
Who want another life

It’s not a one-way street.

We all want Hamas to end.

But we all want the far-right Israeli zionists to end too.

What reason was Hamas or any militias when not for the Nakbas, Sabra, Shatilla, Rafah by IDF?

Are they really the most moral in the world?

Just less than 24 hours ago, a child was shot right in the middle of an open street. His body was cut open. The crowd cautiously closing in to get a closer view of the injured child. And then after, the crowd airstriked.

Palestine child shot and the helpers airstriked

If that is the epitome of morality, who are we?

I don't care how he died, the main thing is that this cruel killer is not here
And this is great news for the world and of course for us Israelis
- No terrorist will escape
From the long hands of our army! The whole world will understand and wake up- Hamas is nearly finished- hope for new meadleast very soon
For my two penneth you opened a huge can of worms in a war you cannot win

So a leader and a party that has as its basis "From the river to the sea there will only be Israeli sovereignty" is one you don't support?
Did Israel want to occupy Gaza for 30 years? So why did we invest billions in walls in each of their cities?
After all, when we wanted the abductees in less than a year and there is no Gaza and not one of their leaders is alive,
Israel wants to live in the Jewish state surrounded by 20 Arab countries, and where exactly will we go, who hasn't realized yet that this state Israel will not fold and live on its sword forever!
Those who want to live by our side out of a desire to live and let live will quickly come to an understanding, unfortunately the sentence from the sea to the river only symbolizes the desire of the Palestinian people - we don't recognize our neighbors, it's just us

Do you wake up singing to this song everyday?

This song was written 95 years ago. Far more than 30 years as you mentioned. By the leader of the Revisionist Zionist of Germany no less.
