Middle East Conflict

Muslim countries are dangerous places for Christians to live, in 2009 there were 50,000 in Gaza and now there are reportedly just over a 1000.
Why are they dangerous places to live for Christians. Surely if they can mix in Europe they can mix in Muslim majority countries.

Yet again, you're being totally disingenuous about the sources you quote. That's David Hearst, who is co-founder and Editor of the Middle East Eye. I've no idea whether he's Jewish or not but he's speaking in his professional capacity, not as a private individual. MEE was accused, by the Saudis, UAE and others of being funded by Qatar, and an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. They denied this, claiming they were "independently funded".

MEE isn't an objective, unbiased organisation. Its bias is abundantly clear. I could produce video after video, or article after article, by Arabs denouncing Hamas or the Palestinian leadership in general. But there's no point as it's just white noise and adds little or nothing to the debate. It's little more than a dick-waving contest. "Oh look. Here's a Jew who denounces Israel" or "Oh look. Here's an Arab Muslim who denounces Hamas'.
Nothing disingenuous about it and yes he’s a Jew, which I think you probably knew (Disingenuous what?). Whether he’s speaking in a personal or professional capacity they’re his words and the inconvenient truth you don’t like to hear.

You can produce all the videos you want of Arabs denouncing Hamas for their barbaric acts and they would be right in doing so!

A like is not appropriate for this, but I just see such similarities with centuries of Irish History here. And he is right in what he says.
There was a theme in Irish history that every generation should rise against what was considered a brutal regime. It was like a duty nationalist considered.

The answer to the problem in any conflict first and foremost must be justice. I believe take religion out of the equation and just deal with what is morally right for all.

Give people justice, what is right.

I find the scenes in videos like this genuinely difficult to watch. It’s not that I’m squeamish. It’s just it’s the helplessness of knowing that this is just so wrong. You can choose a side and subjectively put your own justification on any action you like, but in the back of your mind, you know this is wrong.

These actions will only perpetuate the troubles there for everyone. They will solve nothing.

I really do fear this is going to snowball into something much worse
It will absolutely snowball into something much worse unless someone steps in to deescalate

Have you asked yourself that very question?
I think it's pretty obvious. Jump into Israel and kill as many people as possible. Use the subsequent response as a justification for continued violence and hope for 3rd party involvement.

Where’s God in all of this?
He seems to have got a free pass.
You think praying to him every day and living by his rules he might actually help his followers.

Bloody religion & war. Wish we could put an end to both!

John Lennon….Imagine
Free will.
Of course that won't dissuade you of your opinion. Nor will you comments dissuade me of mine
