I think its more to try and avert a disastrous war, and perhaps bang heads together, looking at the past conflicts they usually last 10-15 days before the US tells Israel enough, but this one is very different, I just don't see how the stated war aims can be achieved without massive bloodshed and other players becoming involved, I also don't know what a diplomatic solution would look like, Hamas can't be allowed to get away with the atrocity they commited, it's a terrible situation the world is facingYou know its ramping up if big Joe is coming to town..a visit to aldi later to stock up on the wine collection..

People think it does not affect them but it does instability in the Middle East tends to push up fuel prices. which ramps up inflation even more
I think this is the biggest question of all. If we can all just take a rest from running as fast as we can to the moral high ground. Just how do Israel and Palestine happily co-exist when so many on both sides would happily (but with earnest regret of course) completely remove the other from the planet?Haven't Palestine and Hamas been the ones who have strongly opposed a two state solution in the past? Not sure how you can negotiate with that.
Strange take. You can always negotiate. Things change. But as I said before, to get Hamas and Hezbollah to the table you need to cut off their funding and their weapons. You need the Arab States and Iran on board for that and that needs some grown up diplomacy from the US.Haven't Palestine and Hamas been the ones who have strongly opposed a two state solution in the past? Not sure how you can negotiate with that.

Never mind inflation I'm quite sure the current Israeli leadership would go nuclear if Hezbollah and Iran got involved.I think its more to try and avert a disastrous war, and perhaps bang heads together, looking at the past conflicts they usually last 10-15 days before the US tells Israel enough, but this one is very different, I just don't see how the stated war aims can be achieved without massive bloodshed and other players becoming involved, I also don't know what a diplomatic solution would look like, Hamas can't be allowed to get away with the atrocity they commited, it's a terrible situation the world is facing
