They’ve been at this, in the Middle East for thousands of years unfortunately, just read your bible, then move on to the Crusades there were even some Crusader States that last quite a while, then the Ottomans and now this

It’s quite a never ending cycle

I am told that the best period for Gaza was under Israeli occupation, there was more or less free movement and quite an economic boom

In the back of my mind I keep thinking that the Americans have done some kind of deal here, that when this over Israel must reopen peace talks, and Bibi goes why else would that trash their already tarnished reputation in that region?

I agree about the settlements. They're the major cause of tension in the West Bank. And I've been quite clear about my condemnation of Israeli government actions.

I am not the one putting it in a community’s name - all I keep hearing is this conflict is because Jews needed a home and Israel was given as a home to Jewish community - everyone has already put it in the name of the Jewish community. Not me.

Isn't Israel claiming that it is doing it on behalf of the world's Jewish community though?

That doesn't make it true, because Israel doesn't have the right to claim that. But it clearly doesn't help Jews outside Israel just going about their lives.

The attempted genocide is in the name of the Israeli Government and not Jewish people around the world.

I am worried for the journalists and film crews in Gaza who the Israeli Government seem to have decided are enemies. I hope it's not true but i fear the chaos in Gaza will be used to kill more journalists, alongside the terrible civilian suffering.
