Indeed they weren't but I don't think anyone on Sky was saying they was, which made it slightly sad in my opinion.

erm buzzer had to step in and say that there were two teams playing !! the fact those twats were ignoring in his face then said the stats were in the scum favour which has since been discounted...the first time ever someone has questioned the rags with a valid argument live on Sky...more of the same please.

Too friggin right !
Here here...

I dont think it looks like sour grapes, it looked like he was getting irrate by the fact that not once did they look at, or dicsuss the effort city put in, because funnily enough there were TWO teams on the pitch.
Top and bottom is this, if silva and Tevez hadnt missed and without the circus freak goal "which it was" it could well have been a win for us.
It was a bit of luck on both parts, just didnt fall our side of the fence, and i think Mike Summerbee, who achieved more in his football career than any of you rag muppets supporters will ever achieve in your lifetime, has the right to say what he sees.
In my opinion he was 100% bang on the money.

Just glad he had the balls to say it.
This is a man who was part of a city team that used to take apart united on a regular basis, a team that used to piss down the necks of the holy trinity of best, charlton and Law... at every opportunity.

I'll give Denis Law one thing to his credit, he could perform overhead kicks and mean it whenever he wanted to, be suprised if rooney can pull that off ever again.

'We'll come here and take them apart one day, mark my words"

Straight out of the Kevin Keegan book of losing it on Television, after your team lost.

Where ahve Sky stats been discounted, on the beeb they still had the possesion in UTD's favour albeit by a much smaller margin, I think the goal attemps where more in your favour but having seen the game live I would question that stat, the point being is you didn't have as much of the game as you think.

As for Summerbee, while he went off on one for bit it was great to see someone care so passionatley about a club in a way that most modern professionals (Tevez and Rooney are recent examples) just can't comprehend, good for him

Difference is Summerbee actually CAN put his money where his mouth is, and he knows we have a team that can and will do it.
And when our completely newly assembled bunch of players have settled in for a season or two, rags will finally understand what he's talking about.
I think his vitriol was mostly aimed towards the despicable rag brown tonguers on sky, so therefore he just let rip.

Its called passion, something every single United supporter wouldnt have a friggin clue about.
ironically their team still do, i'll give them that.
