Tony Adcock went down the other end of the pitch and bloody scored...... oh no we thought....we never win away, why now!!!!!!! Everyone just looked at one another, no one cheered, just a few claps and that was all. We won one nil and i've never been so glad to get back to Manchester.[/quote]
Was at that game, when Adcock scored we didnt cheer because we didnt know it had gone in at first.I remember the 3-0 MR game when Nigel Spink, let the ball go between his legs for one of the goals, with the Miollwall fans throwing cups of piss in the North Stand. On Upper Lloyd St in dads car-next minute he says look at this lot coming from behind. The police escort of Millwall fans must have been their whole support. How the car never got vandalised I dont know.
My other memory is doing the London Marathon in April 1996 as City's representative in the Football Challenge.City were going down from the Premier and Millwall looked safe in the division below us.Millwall fan,big guy shouts Millwall's that way next season.I had the last laugh as they too were relegated.Loved to have met him on the course the year after.
