Capello is one of the best managers in world football, I guarentee if he was City manager we would be in for the title next season, without even buying players during the window. That's not a slur on Mancini because he could reach that level as he has the potencial to do so, but Capello is up there with the Mourinho's and Bacon Face's of the world.

The way the press in this country have turned on him so quick is scandalous, we don't deserve a manager of his calibre.

I agree Goat. For 2 years everyone has been singing his praises, saying how working them hard is right, likewise no WAG's, no mobiles, strict discipline, then suddenly we have 2 awful games and according to the media our manager is crap, the players need more fun, the players should be making the team selection decisions and so on - naffing joke it is; rant over, sorry, transfer forum, pass my coat...

Fair point but his problems are compounded by the fact that not ONE single player has shone in this tourney so far for England. This bunch of pampered overpaid (and bored) prima donnas need to pull their finger out and show their worth starting Wednesday. They owe the manager and country that much at least!
