the only odds on player xfers today that changed was milner, now 1/4

Well i have read a lot about he is average etc, but when i watched the game vs Villa i thought he was the best player on the park - he drove Villa forwards and had a cracking shot against a post ( if i recall correctly ).
So average...........no................in my opinion as gerrard is past his best he will become the engine room of England over the next 4 -5 seasons.
I think he would be a very astute signing.
Also got to say Arteta was the best opposition player i saw at COMs last season - he would add something different to our midfield........plus that goggle eyed tit would have a heart attack if we went in for him !

Don't know if it has been said or whether it means anything at all but Milner was not used in Villa's promotion of their new kit today, bit weird considering he's their best player.

The thing is I dont wee where he would play.
We already have, SWP, A Johnson, Silva and Bellamy. In the centre we have Yaya.
We have made an offer for Balotelli it seems presumably he would be used on the right as we have Tevez, Ade and possibly Dzeko comming up front.
So where is milner going to play even if we get rid of Ireland, maybe Bellamy ?

We need a midfield player who can drive the team. Yaya can do that, but I don't see anyone else, and what if we want Toure to play a deeper role? You need options for a 38 game season plus Cups.
And where do you get the idea that Bellamy and Ireland are going from? If someone comes along and bids stupid money then maybe that will happen, but at the moment I see them staying at City
