Agree, i don't think he's particularly brilliant, certainly not worth what we'll pay, but i can see exactly why we want him and he should be a good enough addition.

My problem with NDJ is that he is completely one-dimensional. Admittedly though what he does, he does very very well.

Which is precisely what he is employed to be.
Ask Jose about Makelele's influence in Chelsea's first title win.

We continually moan about signing players who want to come to the club.

As yourself why this kid wants to , he has his pick. They can't all be wrong.

It just so happens we can offer the most to Villa. We have seen in the past with Kaka that means nowt.

Milner is going to be one of the very best midfielders in this country over the next four years.

You only get to the top with the right attitude. Lampard and Gerrard had it, so does Milner.

Would be a brilliant addition.

He's really not as a naturally talented as Ireland, and i'm a fan of Ireland, but Milner seems generally more involved and influential in matches. He's also far more versatile, which bumps his price up.

i agree mate.

milner is a similar player to fletcher at the rags.puts a good shift in every game gets the odd goal here an there,same with assist.

he will be part of the engine room not the flair room.

Villa haven't bought anyone yet have they? I reckon O'Neill is trying to speed the process up because he can't buy anyone at the moment. They need our money, but we are taking our time before we go back in with another bid. Good tactic. Make them sweat.

here here salfor blue.De jong is a class act the way some ppl on ere say de jong is one dimensional is like sayin kolo toure is one dimensional or adebayor is on dimensional.We buy players to do specific jobs and milner would be a terrific addition
