Did not go into much detail, just said Juventus need to hurry the negotiations up due to Manchester City showing strong interest.

I can only assume CSKA might be bluffing to make sure Juventus pay the correct money.

Krasic has already agreed to join Juventus and CSKA will respect his wishes they said. I'll update you via PM or on here tommorow mate but I think he's 99% a Juventus player.

Why the hang up on players price, city no longer deal in a level valued transfer market, any player we purchase now is going to be overpriced, examples being rsc lescott and that is just the beginning we have to ignore the price we pay. Just look at the player we are getting
Is he better than a current member of the Squad if yes then we are better off.

Remember we milner is english and currently idolised by villa, they have to get best they can

Firstly I would much prefer we keep him but if we are to sell we should wait until after the WC and hope someone else comes in for him i.e Man United.

Whilst the money is pretty good selling to a close rival for a champions league spot for me is a massive no no for me.£30mil will be feck all if they qualify for the champs league on the back of signing Milner.

Mancini said that Ireland needed to sort his head out, pissing off home before the game because he was home sick is what I heard. No doubt he has talent but I don't think his heart is set as a full time pro footballer otherwise he would have returned to the Ireland squad by now. Milner is pro through and through. The price we pay may be more than we beieve his true worth is but Mancini and the club feel they are getting value for money and for me that is all that needs to be said. Milner is a cracking player and if someone a couple of years back had said that we would have three England Midfield internationals in our squad with the prospect of more to come I would have labelled you all as mad as a box of frogs. Lets wait and see but I have a feeling things are going to get better and better before the summer is out.

How many games did Milner positively influence last season and how many did Ireland positively influence?

I hope Ireland comes back into form, but he is hardly reliable. On the other hand Milner has improved steadily over the past 4-5 years and seems much more consistent to me.

^This, Milner could be the next big thing, if we pass on him here for 28mill we could be chasing him for more than that next season, true he could flop and we end up seeling him at a defecit, in short ist a gamble, hopefully one that pays off.

I find it amusing that so many now believe the daily mail as a source of facts. Especially as we have all found it hard to get any sort of info on transfers, I'm not "itk" however, I'm willing to bet if this transfer does go through, it will do with, the fee being undisclosed.
