Thing is you need that money - we dont. Dunne and Ireland were great players for city on their day but they have never shown consistently they are top 4 quality.

We want players that are or at least have the chance to be.

I wish Dunne and Ireland all the best luck at Villa as they gave brilliant service to city, they cost us nothing, £3million for Dunne, Ireland free and served us well for years.

More importantly unlike Bellamy and Robinho they showed real respect for the club and fans even when you could argue they werent shown the same respect in return. So they go with the love and respect of the fans and will always get a warm reception when they return.
