Milner talks about Man City

Some of the dare I say 'bitter' posters on here are an embarrassment to City Fans as a breed. Intolerant, hate filled, spiteful ,sad excuses for fans. Spew bile about a sportsman they never met who always gave 100% for us . They arrive at their unpleasant opinions based on social and anti social media. Probably never kicked a ball in their lives ,probably never heard of Wyn davies one of my all time favourites who left us to play for United but was always a true sportsman.
I saw his celebrations against us live on TV, not on social media

Imagine a new player comes to us and is asked same question and he responds "well, my last team was better".

People who are upset by a guy trying to make a good impression at his new club need to get a grip.

People who are upset cos he went on a free...he served out his contract and went for a good payday and chance to get more gametime. Again, get a grip.

Did he always put in a shift for us? Yes.

Did he play a big part in one of our best sides ever? Yes

End of.

Could not agree more. Lot of admiration for Milner as he has got the absolute maximum out of his ability and career.

A reason for leaving is he said he wanted to play in midfield and of late that is the position he seems to occupy. Very unlikely that would be the case at City.

Good luck to him, always come across as a really decent bloke.

Never seen what the issue was/is with Milner. Some of the comments about him from City fans have been very raggish to say the least
Me neither, I particularly liked Khaldoons end of season interview praising Milner after he'd gone. And who gives a flying fuck if he celebrates when scoring against us.

Milner has followed the money , he got a nice fat singing on fee from the Dippers but has given up any chance of adding to his medal haul , at the end of his career he will have plenty of noughts on his bank balance but his trophy/medal cabinet will look barren compared to the City players , he made his choice and at 33 his is well past his sell by date. His comments since he left us are probably taken out of context but if he really thinks the Dippers are a better "team" then show us the medals Jimmy , maybe next year eh ?

It’s fine to post about bitterness when you are so removed from the intensity an aligator could bite you on the arse, but to those that still live here, we care
