Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

I watched the whole police presser and they never mentioned a ball and her mate said she didnt take balls on the walks anymore because the dog would mither her non stop to throw it

I tried to stop taking a ball on walks for my spaniel because he’s too dumb to understand he has to give it back for me to throw it again.

But what happened is he spent several 60 minute plus walks simply walking 6 inches behind me, staring up, waiting for me to pull the ball I didn’t have out of my pocket. Nothing I could do would convince him there was no ball.

So I reverted to bringing the ball, less annoying and he gets exercise.

As horrible as it sounds, if she had drowned then surely police would have recovered her body by now? From what I'm reading it's a calm and shallow river. Either way, it must be anguish for her family. Pray they get answers soon.
Quite agree, I walk my dogs along a similar type of river, there are a few deep parts but not of any great length, the most are fairly shallow and a body would soon appear somewhere along, stuck in the shallows, tangled in a tree or caught in the undergrowth. My opinion, on a football forum, is she never went in the river unless she was bound and weighted and that would take time and planning.....

I am afraid she is going to be found drowned by a diver in the near future imo

Has anyone asked whether she could have committed suicide? Did she have and underlying mental health/depression/menopause hormonal issues?...
It's quite difficult (I'd have thought) in that river to purposely try and drown. Of all the ways i was going.to do that (and I've never thought about doing.it) that would be my last idea.

Just wonder how much water a full length puffer jacket would soak up and how heavy it would become. There are steep sides to the river and loads of slippery mud. Must be difficult to scramble out. Just praying the body is found quickly now for the family.

But surely if she slipped in there would be signs of it. Most women I know would not put their phone down mid call it’s normally glued to their hands
