Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

Several miles, but with it being so windy with shallow banks (as well as a weir), I'm not sure a body would make it out to the Irish Sea. More likely get grounded on a bank along the way
The police women said they'd been searching as far as the coast, but where the river gets tidal, there's lots of creeks that will fill up at high tide, and then will be near empty at low tide, and they won't be able to search every one at every low tide.

Also bare in mind she went missing on Jan 27th, we'd just come out of a period of quite wet weather at that point, so the river was probably flowing much higher and faster than it currently is.

The expert with 20 years experience said that a person who drowns sinks to the bottom and hardly moves from the place they enterered the water. Only when decomposition occurs does the body float to the surface.

The whole thing is baffling.

Apparently police moving the search to the sea. Just seen Peter Fauldings video from this morning saying opposite to the police baffling.

I suspect his equipment isn't suitable for sea searching and would be fruitless attempting due to tides and tidal currents
He’s reiterated the river in the parts Nicola possibly fell in is so slow running after 20 plus years experience the body certainly wouldn’t move very far maybe metres. He said he can see every stick and stone. I think they’re finishing up today and he can categorically say she never been in the river all madness mate.

Very strange. That peter guy also said that the police divers were in the water on that friday, within a few hours of Nicola being reported missing.. so surely she is not in the section of the river where the phone/bench is. Nicola is apparently a athletic 45 year old which also makes it hard to beleive she would not be able exit the water if she did fall in, without some medical event. A true mystery.
