Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

I read today that she may have had issues with 'alcohol' I don't know how true though - to get your kids to school on time and then walk the dog is not exaclty banging on the door of the One-Stop shop at 10am type of behavoiur is it? But I suppose people learn to mask alcoholism in different ways.

I hope she is found soon, my phone keeps beeping with 'News Updates' and everytime I look at it, I hope it is that she has turned up.

Apparently the river was in fast flow on the day of her disappearance, enough to lift her over the weir.
If that was the case why bother searching near the bench in the first place, they should have been looking further downstream earlier.

This poor woman.

I am 49, my good lady is 50 and suffering with menopause. My utmost sympathy. I get it.

The entire situation is so tragic.
I'm in a similar position but my situation is heightened in the fact my wife is unable to have any hrt due to a previous health condition
so i really feel the pain, its awful

Yes there is that and the police not telling the expert diver about her problems which could have pointed to suicide. If she ran and jumped into the river rather than stumbled, then she would have sunk down quickly and her clothing probably kept her down. She would have been in the deeper faster flowing section of the river and as he said swept along quite quickly and probably out to sea. He was very annoyed not to know this information as he said it would have altered his search plan if he had.

The drip feed from the police is pretty poisonous. Not sure it should all be made public.

Obviously suicide should not be ruled out but why has it suddenly gained relevance?

Are we really expected to believe it affected the way the underwater search was conducted?

It was all being made public by social media anyway

3 weeks and still no clue, guess the Police just felt it right to put her issues out there - It may or may not help the case

It’s classic arse covering from the police - the personal information would never have been released if the search had not attracted such criticism, seemingly from all sides.

I thought the manner of the policewomen in the press conference yesterday was pretty poor to be honest, particularly the bit where she seemed to make a joke about not being able to question the dog. I appreciate the frustration with the number of weirdos descending on the scene, but there’s a way to handle things and the way they’ve suddenly released this information is pretty low rent in my view.

yeah i get that the police playing she maybe fell in, maybe for sake of family but ‘if’ was suicide how can you take two young kids to primary school ‘knowingly that that’s last time they would see mum cos i’m going to top myself’ its so strange

One of my best friends killed himself. He had three children (two were 18 month old twins) He had dropped the other at school before he did it. Nobody can imagine the depth of despair people in such a position go to.
It defies logic, but it happens... sadly :-(
