Doesn’t feel much like summer just yet, but the baseball season (cue rounders jokes) has already started, with the star-studded Dodgers beating the Padres in Seoul. The season begins proper next Thursday, with LA likely to be the clear favourite. For many other teams it will be a year of rebuilding, however. White Sox can surely do better than last year’s 61-101, but based on spring training I fear they’ll be scrapping it out with the Royals for bottom spot in the AL Central. Anyway, whichever team you root for, best of luck.

I’m travelling over to NYC in July from the UK for the pre season game v Milan in Yankee stadium. Looking to go to the Mets v the Braves the night before in Citifield. Anyone that can give me some tips and pointers? Never been before, also about purchasing tickets? Seems to be a huge difference in price from MLB site to ticketmaster and again to seekgeek. Thanks
