I'm a Phillies fan, not a Philly fan. Most of the people at Phillies games are cool but there are the Eagles fans that show up and don't know how to act.

Thats like saying Mount Everest is a big mountain!!! I guess thats why they had to actually build a makeshift JAIL in the bowels of the new stadium there in Philadelphia!!! Just think of their "fans" as Millwall-hideous creatures!!!!!

They built that stadium for Eagles games, it had nothing to do with the Phillies.

And, as I've said before, I'm from the mid-state and not an Eagles fan at all. I was lucky enough to be raised to love the Steelers.

It's hard to appreciate the skill involved unless you've played it yourself. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports.

Really? Ever tried to get a squash ball back after running 10 yards at top speed, with the hand/eye coordination required, then play it back in such a way that your opponent has to do the same thing because the ball has come off two or more walls, changing both angle and pace at the same time.

From what I've seen, the pitcher tries to make sure the batter (or whatever he's called) can't hit it, and the batter tries to hit it. Probably a simplified version of what goes on, but each to their own I suppose.
