Would make a great summer tournament in Manchester. Thursday MCFC V NYCFC 5pm, MCFC V MCFC 7.15pm and a finals day on the Sunday with a 3rd place play off followed by a final. Open the whole site for BBQs and music. A CFG Festival of Champions with the biggest prize money in world football ;-)

Unfortunately it would piss down with torrential rain throughout the entire tournament. Remember the 2002 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony?

My guess is it would be held in NYC or Los Angeles. Travel for all teams, weather, plus I doubt CFG would be consulted regarding the venue, why should they care where it is? No matter who wins it's 250 million to the CFG.
