MLS / New York City thread

Sadly NYCFC lost 3-1 last night so are now knocked out. A pretty good season for them though to be fair, lost their main striker (to Girona) and Nick Cushing has had a step up from managing in the womens game. Lets see if they can bring anyone in to go again next year.

You tell me. The feedback I get from people over there I know is that "soccer" is on a huge upward trend. The crowds are up (even in the lower leagues), the TV revenue is hugely up. It certainly is compared to when I lived in New York and Oregon many years ago. I don't know what it is like in your neck of the woods but Inter Miami are apparently signing Messi so that will help with publicity. There are also a lot more supporters' groups following the PL than there used to be.

Oh watching the PL is huge. But no one ever talks about MLS
