Article says he wants to stay in PL.

Now that maybe just a threat to Liverpool as it will only mean he joins a rival next summer, or maybe he's very happy in this league and doesnt want to leave it. By all accounts very settled in Cheshire too.

That can all be settled by paying a player what they are worth and like it or not (esp as an Everton fan) his performances and stats put him up there with anyone the last couple of seasons. Plus this will be the last chance for him to get a big wage due to his age. Cant believe Liverpool fans are calling him greedy.
 
They’re selling Mane, going to be plenty in the kitty for a rebuild and to give Salad what he wants.
However if his quote is true, bit of a veiled threat going on. Wonder how the locals will view that when his form dips next year, as this.

Diaz looks decent when played with those 2. Stick him in with Jota and Firmino and he's not the same player.

I hope he stays and joins a rival next season.

For a 30 year old in the last year of his contract Liverpool will get a fee of around 35mil which certainly wont create a kitty to rebuild.
 
I think Liverpool will be back to where they were, fighting for the UCL spot. They got lucky over the signings and dominated for the last 3 years
 
It’s obvious Salah will just get a huge new contract from Liverpool and declare his undying love for them once he’s secured his £400k a week wage.

“Never wanted to leave, ‘istree, the fans”, etc and other such platitudes footballers are told to say once their agent has received his multi-million lump sum.

To be fair, he's openly said he wants to stay but it depends on the club. So if they pay him what he's worth I think he will be happy to sign. You cant consistently claim he's one of the best in the world then offer him less than De Gea.

The scousers don’t really pay that level. That’s the problem. Salah wants more than they are prepared to pay.

Couldnt agree more

He is worth elite wages.If the Tramps cant offer such then he will rightfully find a club that will.
 
I don't actually think he'll sign a new contract there but when he goes, whether this Summer (doubt it with Mane going) or next Summer, it'll be to PSG or Real.

He doesn't have age on his side given the money he's asking to be on for the next x amount of years on a new deal.
 
Dippers may find some cash under the mattress but only for mane the forehead or salad . Hope they lose both asap.
