Because that's exactly what would be said if we spent like this, which is Tony's point.
I’m not sure it is. It reads to me that it’s sickening him Tony. Happy to be corrected though.Because that's exactly what would be said if we spent like this, which is Tony's point.
Im with you 100%, I wasn’t very clear on my original message. It’s more a dig at clubs who spend huge sums with zero criticism from the British media. Makes me sick they can without any sort of coverage that we would get in the same spot.Wasteful yeah, no strategy yeah, but I'm
not having sickening.
I’m firmly in the camp that believes owners of clubs should be able to invest what they want, on who they want. Just like every other business in the capitalist world.
That’s right, my message was poorly worded.Because that's exactly what would be said if we spent like this, which is Tony's point.
When you’re top of the tree you’re there to be shot at, but city also get a lot of praise from the media, especially I’ve the last 2-3 season when it comes to us generating revenues from the academyIm with you 100%, I wasn’t very clear on my original message. It’s certainly not as bad as it was but certain journalists, Matt Law a prime example hammered us for years for spend, now praising Chelsea. Just one example. When you’re top of the tree you’re there to be shot at, but city also get a lot of praise from the media, especially I’ve the last 2-3 season when it comes to us generating revenues from the academy
Spot on.€800m + in the last 12 months… is a bit crazy. We’d be pummelled for that level of spending.
As I said, I think Tony has cleared it up, but I gotb his point.I’m not sure it is. It reads to me that it’s sickening him Tony. Happy to be corrected though.
