Monaco - Post Match thread.

To be fair, I am struggling to think of many managers who change things around so much. If you were talking about Pellegrini, I would agree wholeheartedly with you.
I remember Bobby made a few first half substitutions when it wasn't working, it takes balls to do but he wasn't afraid to do it. Pepe has one way and one way only of playing, Pellers was repeatedly slated for not having a Plan B well Pep is exactly the same

Hey guys .

I'm sorry for the ones who welcomed me nicely and had a nice time on discusting with me, I think it must be tough for you to see me post right now, but I need to do it, since some guys here just bulled me.

I think you guys totally underratted our players and squad. When I told you that fabi/baka wasnt on their level, it was just an excuses. When i told you that Silva was a pure talent and will be a top 3 ballon d'or, I was wrong. When i told you that Mbappe doesn't need 3 shots to put one in the net, i was just a french proud guys.
Well, it looks like I wasn't that much wrong.

Congrats overall to city, it was two beautifull games. Both team deserved to go through, it was equal at the end.

Really high quality coach duel too. Was a pleasure. Hope to see you on groups next year, so we can duel again, and both goes through :)

Have a nice end of season.

Mods - I'm properly not in the mood for this smug cnut tonight. He was a giant sized twat after the first leg, and I can't imagine he'll do anything other than WUM non-stop tonight. Ban him please

Thought the players were all in contention for the golden slipper award in the first half......

We would have been battered had we gone further,we are not good enough till we sort the defences out, concentrate on the cup and top 4 andgo again next season

Agreed. Just feels like another treading water season that promised so much. The quality at times of the football we have seen is breathtaking then quickly followed by ponderous shite!

What we are definitely missing is a LEADER someone to gee them up. Someone to keep them going & LEAD. Zaba, VK & Joe Hart were always there leading by example. Joe's gone, VK was injured so Zaba should have been on that field tonight!!

Was there any explanation as to where the elusive VK was? Why, when Guardiola keeps saying he's fit is he not on the pitch even if only for 45 minutes? And please don't say he needs playing time, time to ease back in. He's never going to get back if we don't play him!

I thought pep said we would defend by attacking - the half-time statistics showed ZERO attempts on goal either on or off target. That half must have really painful to watch!

Can we write this one off to 'transition' as well? We love a bit of transition don't we?
