This is of liverpools own making, by responding so horrendously wrong and then making a siege mentality out of the indefensible they have given the go ahead to the minority of morons who think it is acceptable to behave in this manner.

Kenny is from a time when this sort of thing was normal. As far as he is concerned its not racism until someone is swinging from a noose. He should be ashamed of himself and his refusal to nip all this in the bud by having Saurez apologise.

I hope they fail in everything now.

Oh I'm sure you're right. After all it's quite normal to call someone a "black bastard" on Merseyside. In fact it's a term of endearment you hear used on the streets of Huyton every day.

So what are Liverpool going to do? Claim the player was mistaken and he was actually called a "fat bastard"? Issue a statement unequivocally condemning racism? That would ring a bit hollow seeing as how they've actually made all sorts of statements in the last few weeks that implicitly support racism.

Given that their main sponsor is a bank that makes the overwhelming majority of its profits in Asia and Africa then I'd be amazed if Standard Chartered weren't sitting very uneasily at the moment checking their contract.

The sad thing is this is the same reaction a lot of the RAWK posters have. That because of the FA, not Suarez or Liverpool or the fan who supposedly chanted something, this will be a big deal. It's the FA's fault that everyone immediately believes a racism accusation against Liverpool. That or it's a setup.
 
Let's get this into perspective. It was only a couple of years ago that 2 City fans were arrested and charged with using racist language. Every club in the country has supporters the majority are ashamed of.

The scousers are now sayin it was three drunks who were chucked out, one for throwin a coin, though I found this:

This a couple of pricks do not make them all so.
Simple plod have cctv pick them out get statements off the player and fans around off to court with a 5 year banning order for them. I can see Liverpool jumping on these 2 clowns if they dont they will get murdered in the press.

Why should they get a 5 year ban and saurez get 8 game ban and I doubt terry will get 5 years

The 2 City fans arrested as I remember, were shouting "paki twats" at some asian lads. When it was reported in the MEN, one was from Rhyl, the other from Huddersfield. I'd be furious if our club was punished for the actions of braindead pricks like that. Incidently, MCFC banned them for life.
