More student protests

Half of me wants to go onto university and get a good degree, become a teacher, work hard, and have a nice life.

The other half of me wants to just fuck around for three years getting pissed, just to spite some of the dimwitted inbreds who have posted on this thread.

You can do both quite easily.

I heard a rumour once that even people who work like to drink and get pissed but it could just be a rumour.

To be honest, I'm a bit bored of drinking now. I'd rather spend my time/money on stuff that isn't going to make me fat and feel like shit.

I would love to see you try and teach English to speakers of other languages.

(BTW, I agree with the cuts. I just don't argue with the stereotyping of students that seems to be happening on this thread.)

What would your plan on fiscal policy be given the current economic climate?

I only ask as it seems you are not enjoying "taking one in the arse" at present.

Hello.

In my experience, the Conservative line of thinking, in opposition to the welfare state, repudiate philosophy such as fatalism and determinism, insisting that we are the ones who decided our future. In that case, social housing is not due to circumstance, as they can always get a job, like you or I.

Personally, I believe that the opportunity to be educated at an admissable price - however Mickey Mouse the degree is - is as important as a house over your head.

Well then we differ. I would also say that so long as the individual pays for it, then they can do whatever degree they fancy.

As for your experience, since when did I say I was Conservative? Is one no longer allowed personal opinions without them being nailed to the colours of one of the main parties? ;)

And is anybody certain to the extent which the student is subsidised? That would be interesting.
