More trams

Metrolink is utter rubbish
I stopped using it last year.
Not enough trams, poor planning and occasionally rude staff put me off.
For one of the leading cities in Europe it's garbage.

I don't think the tram issue will be solved anytime soon. More trams will help but metrolink will not entertain this idea. A dedicate tram stop like MediaCity's next to the Etihad tram line might work with two trams per wait, but unless CFG itself provides these trams I can't see where metrolink will get additional operational trams

Been on trams for a few years except the last two when I decided to walk. the tram queues are getting worse by the year.

Metrolink is a toy town mass transit system.
Pretty easy to fix though if ALL trams going to Piccadilly went to the Etihad for two hours before kick-off and for a further two hours 20 mins before full time.
Not just Metrolink though.
The B'lue car park needs major rework - it isn't fit for purpose.
Also the traffic lights sequences need radical alteration post game to ease traffic away from the ground.

Not to mention the over crowding issue.
I use to commute to town on them but it became unberable and I couldn't do it anymore.
I hate it.

Blue G car park we moved one car length in 33 mins and took . 1hour 30 mins to get a mile from ground. People wonder why you leave early !!! Still had a 2 hour drive after that. Sort it out PEP

There is a need for significant transport investment before the ground gets bigger. That's the plain truth. At my age and degree of knackeredness the sheer hassle of getting to and from the ground is really off-putting. Great ground inside. Getting to and from it, a total pain.

I agree. A 2 hour drive is often a 3 hour+ drive if it goes though the M6 or M5 roadworks!
I've given up this season on midweek night games as a result and the M6 roadworks don't finish till March 2019!

Mid week night games I would actually limit to season card and away fans only. Is that about 40000 enough .

Still doing the M5/M6 for night games but don’t get home until 3.00am. The roadworks are crazy and as you say not ending any time soon.
