A girl from our group at unviersity lives in Khimki and she says it takes not so long to get to Khimk - if you go there in day about 15:30-16:30 it takes you less then an hour to arrive to the Khimki Stadium. Take the underground and go till the end of the Zamoskvoretskaya (green) line - Rechnoi Vokzal station and then go by the mini bus №345
 
More info. Also not far from the Arena there is a Mega Mall, with an IKEA and food court and lots of shop. Every restaurant sells alcohol, except for Mc Donald's, in Russia. It's five mins by bus.

In the centre, Silver's(Tverskaya), Katie O'Sheas (Prospekt Mira) are good Irish pubs. Papa's Place (Chisty Prudy) is an expat hangout and can be entertaining. A good place prematch might be Metro Novokuznetskaya (Green Line), if you have some time. There's the Bar BQ, Punch and Judy Pub, Molly Gwynn's and a lot of restaurants within sight of the metro entrance.

Liga Pap (<a class="postlink" href="http://www.ligapap.ru/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ligapap.ru/</a>) is a good one too. Also, there is MU CL match in their sheulde, it goes right after our game. Not sure if it is good or bad to us, but if we win we can tell reds where to get off

billy no-mates going, tuesday 8.50 manchester to frankfurt then onto domodov, moscow, staying in hotel budapest, all depending on visa hopefully get back early this week
 
Two of us going on the Wednesday morning flight from Manchester - if anyone wants to share a taxi from the airport towards Red Sq and or from Red Sq to the game give us a shout

Also forgot that Rechnoy Vokhzal, has a shopping centre built next to it (like most Moscow metro stations outside the direct centre). It has a food court and The Toro Grill was an expat fav. Lots of shops and kiosks on the street too. Produkti means cornershop and they sell almost everything that is detrimental to your wellbeing.

Rechnoy Vokhzal means River Station, so if you have a lot of time you can take a northern river cruise. I can't vouch for the hours of entertainment.

What time is your flight from Frankfurt I'm going from dublin>Frankfurt>Moscow on Tuesday ?
